need help i downloaded the trial version of dark basics and it does work at the start but when i try an execute a command it says system error and i have to exit the program can anyone help me plz i really want to try this program

the error says "System Error:Surfaces could not be created.[..000.and Direct3d HAL] faliled to create a D3D device from backbuffer surface" Plz help me

Start > run and enter dxdiag
The directx diagnosic thing will start and it tells you the version installed on your machine.

or goto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and it will be one of the updates if you don't have it installed

go thru the dxdiag video/d3d tests and make sure they all pass. if they do then maybe your drivers are shot and need reinstalling.

its very hard to get the latest drivers for my computer my graphics card is a ATI RADEON is there any other way of using the program witout having to install the latest drivers. i have looked all over the place on the net for the drivers and i still cant find em has anyone got an ATI RADEON and knows wher to get updates??????????????????????

ok i have installed the latest driver but now wen i run i execute a command a blue screen comes up and shuts down my comp ( i cant read the writin on the blue screen in comes up for like 2 sec) so wat can i do now????????????????????????????????????????????????????

... omg ... ok lets go. what brand is your pc? how old is it? how much ram you got? how fast is your cpu? they have to meet the system requirement or else the program wont work ^^.make sure you got the system requirement then run the program. if its still does not work, well that means that theres not much left to do . good luck
