i connected 2 computers with link cable - paraller port.
All multiplayer games are working, directplay ok, ip/tpc connections are ok, IPX are wirking.
But no internet. How to share it?

i would say,
2 Network Cards + say a 5meter BNC Twisted Pair Cable line with 2 T-Juncs and Terminators...
or
2 Network Cards + a Hub + 2 Cat5 Cables...

that's how most people do it in the 21st Century

Do you have 56k or broadband?
with broadband its easy, with 56k it requires a bit of tweaking (but not allot).

Also what OS is on the machines?

There is another way...

There are proxy internet sharing programs available that can share a connection by assigning it an IP address and port that you specify in Explorer - that's what we do at work, we have ProxyPlus running on our server, then anyone who needs web access can get it just by entering the settings in IE.

Pretty sure there's a free version of ProxyPlus with limited users, for 2 users it should be fine.

XP has an option, I believe that on the main computer connected to the internet directly [If using XP] goto Network Connections right click the internet connection and Tick share... Might work

Sometimes ISP's dont allow you to network more than one MAC address at once, they only allow you to use the main PC with the internet. To bypass this, there are instructions with your router that gives you an address to type into the address bar. Its something like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx You get into it and there should be an option where you can choose something like "use this pc's mac address". Set that and your ISP cannot block your other MAC addresses because the router makes it look like the same PC. Then you can freely access the internet no matter what PC on the network you use.

Ah, get an all-in-one cable modem/hub/router/wireless access point. Pretty cheap these days. Have all mine separate (got in early when it was expensive and... erm... a bit pants in comparison...), and works just fine.

i don't know much but we use analogx proxy and we share our 56k connection just fine over the ethernet network. of course if either me or my dad is downloading something the internet becomes horribly slow for the other O_o

Take a copy of the Internet and put it on a CD. Then burn the CD and give it out to your friends, etc and put it into the other computer. I mean, it's what you do with our software anyway, I'm sure it'll work
