Don't know (infact I don't think there is a trial version at all), But VS C++ (6.0 or .net) are some of the best compilers around. Once you get used to using it you start to marvel at how cool each feature is.

If you have the money, just buy it; you won't be dissapointed

There is a free download of the compiler only, I believe - have a search in these forums for details.

The place for all great plug-ins.
Rule #1:Mention Windows XP SP2 RC1. Rule #2:See Rule 1

checkout Microsoft Visual Studio Online
thanks to Windows Server 2003 technology you can use this fully web-based server to access a full and current build of Visual Studio .Net 2004.
For upto 3hrs at a time, you must reregister after that and none of your files are saved locally so you have to save them to your HDD.
It is a little limited, but that was introduced because of the load the server gets.

it is a cheap solution if you cannot afford Visual C++ .Net; this said it is now £75/$110 from Amazon.co.uk/.com so worth checking out.
