hi, I want to make a program which reads a list of usernames off a .txt file

the code i have got atm is in the source..

The thing is i cant put the list of names in
the DATA function .. eg

cat$ = "hello"
data 1,2,3,cat$
read d$

this does not work so how do i do it??
if someone knows what i am trying to do could you plz help me
if im completely on the wrong track then can u show me ur code??

DATA is the info you're retrieving, you dont write info to it.

This will pring "hello world" on the screen



And if you check out my database tutorial, it'll show you how to read and write to text files.
