WorldCraft was created in 1995 as a Level Editor for Quake, this was later Hi-jacked by Valve Software for Half-Life which it has recently gone through a facelift for Half-Life 2 and been renamed Hammer Editor with WorldCraft somewhere in the program.

Hammer Editor 1.0 WorldCraft 3.3/3.4 ... best not to try and understand Valve's reasons for it.

but the short answer is yes.

I think the bsp editor was named "Worldcraft" and you want "World Craft" so maybe it's ok as long as it's not another bsp editor methinks.

not sure tho

yeah, may wanna rethink the name now that I think about it, only because it's a "world editor" so that's kinda similar. Think up some other names and then search for them on googs. If they don't come up then chances are good that they don't exist.
