I'm making a FPS and I made some levels in cartography Shop 4 and I loaded them into Darkbasic. I want it so if my Player object hits anything in the level, like the walls. How do I do this? (Simply Please) Thanks

Unfortunately, collision within an X-based level not that simple.

Take a look at the collision example at the very top of the code snippets forum. It uses the intersect object command to do the collision.

Play around with it and try to understand it - if you have any questions later then just ask

Thanks

Mind if I use that as a testimonial? And, if that's cool, mind providing your full name so I can display it with the testimonial?

Drop us a line if you have any problems.

Sure, my name is Tim Valentine, but I bought it with my sister's (Jennifer Valentine) card because I don't got one. Your program made things alot easier and I was able to things alot quicker. I didn't have to learn all those commands and with your program I could create gravity easily. Thanks for making things alot easier.

Thanks again!
