i have just recently heard of these for darkbasic they could make the job much eaiser where can i aquire 1 or what are the principles of creating one

Well you need:
o An easy to use interface.
o A way of saving the positions of the objects.
o A way of loading them into your DB program.

I haven't seen one that has been released but i'm sure some people will have them. The basic principle is:
o Load/Select an object to place.
o Allow the user to place the object where they want.
o Save the positions to a file.
o Load the positions into a game/program.

You'll need quite abit of experience to a good one though.
Actually I'll probably make it my next project, once i've finished my current one(1-2 weeks)
