Newcomers DBPro Corner / Using .ICO Files

I need to know how to set a .ico (icon file) in dak basic pro?
i tryied using the project manager to do it, that failed, said wouldnt able to load it.

so who can help and what can i do?

what you can do is use Resource Hacker and edit the icon file of ur game executable file. Use it only after you have made ur final.

not that i know of cuz i have DBC. Resource Hacker is your easiest bet. Plus its FREE!!!. www.download.com has it for download i think.

Or you can open the project file .dbpro and open it in wordpad.
Or you can switch to another editor (Hint - BlueIDE) that has the icon section of the editor working properly.
Or you can wreck your computer through frustration
Or just give up.

You have to copy the icon to the same directory as the project file, then it works just fine. After you've added it to the project manager that is.

I did that and it worked fine.

i use icomaker - you can change the icon of any .exe with it after the .exe has been built.

EDIT: http://www.hufsoft.com/download/icochanger.exe
icon must be 16 colour and in .ico or .bmp format
32x32 pixels

Am I the only one here who's really confused?
