yes

i suppose you might want me to explain how though, eh?
right now i don't have time cause i'm working on something else, checkout the cartoon shader function in dbp.

i'll have to ask Mofux but i also have code on howto do it normally without shaders; i'll find out if i'm allowed to convert and post that by the end of the week.

I think shaders would be the way to go. There is a simple toonshader with most shader development tools.

I think those shaders need a better video card or something...

Why don't you instead spheremap the object with a cell-shading effect image(half white;half gray) then "set object light id,0".

Spheremapping works for all video cards (i guess, 'cuz my com w/o video card worked)

Mach: Your mom probably has one of intels integrated cards. PIII?

With just a sphere map you dont get the actual cel shading. You just get a cheap outline.. and if the mesh isnt dense enough it looks awful.

I meant the shading... for outlines, double the object and have it with push (for 3dsmax) or fatboy (for milkshape) then reverse the faces.

(My mom doesn't care any of the computers and stuffs, we, I mean WE bought the CPU, the money didn't came from our parents)

I don't like the gameplay of FFX-2... But I do like Rikku a lot!!! (I posted 4 fanarts in Rpgfan)

Aniamtion Master has a really nice cartoon shader. Can do both standard and anime style. Built in!
