I've searched the forums and seen this question 3 times in past threads. Is there a way to capture sprites in a screenshot using DBP?
I know there are 3rd party programs that can do it I was just wondering If someone found a way to do it in DBP. Thank you.

Not in DBPro - but you could always save the images instead.

I never thought of that. I'll see what I can do with that. Is there a way to access the windows clipboard information from DBP? I wonder if you could make a picture from that with DBP.

You can only read/write stings to the clipboard from DBPro unfortunately.

What do you get if you press the print screen key and use DBPro to read the clipboard information, what will DBP return?

Finally got a new computer:
AMD Athlon Barton XP 3000+, 2x512 Dual DDR3200, Asus V9570/TD 256MB GeforceFX 5700, 200GB SATA 150 HD

If you have the backsave to your sprites disabled and the backdrop disabled, then you should have a copy of the bitmap immediately after the sync command returns.

If you save it at this point you'll have a valid snapshot.

You'll need to try this with the print-screen button to see if it correctly captures your sprites.

Thank you for the responses.
@TheCyborg It returns nothing as it is not a string stored in the clipboard.
@IanM Print screen captures the sprites o.k. even when DBP doesn't but i'll try it.

I'll see what I can come up with when I get home from work.
