Newcomers DBPro Corner / sprites or cursors for inventory

when you pick up an object in your inventory would it be better to use sprites and move them where your mouse is or to change the mouse cursor to the image of the item?

you'd prolly be better of with sprites instead of mouse cursors. cursors are a little dodgy ATM, IMHO

of course you could do the best of both worlds!

just show mouse, draw a sprite at the mouse location, then hide your mouse, then sync your screen!
