The features say "3d engine with BSP+PVS etc.."..does it mean
that every geometry I put in the world is implicitly inserted in a BSP+PVS structure? or it is so only for Q2 and Q3 maps?
thanks

only if u compile all that geometry into a BSP.

later on I heard rumours of being able to mesh all sorts of objects together including matrices for making an x file to get converted to BSP.

yup using any ID software grants ID to open your wallet and take what ever they like

for "id software" do you mean the BSP-format-file also?
or their world-editor only?

hahahah

Im sure he means the editor. I don't think they have the rights to the whole format, but I could be wrong.

I am the very disease you pretend to be.

As far as I know using bsp files is ok, it's just the editor and compiling tools you use to create the bsp you have to be careful of. There are editors and tools out there which are free from such licences.
