How can I make a texture for an object with per pixel controlled Alpha? (I can't discribe...) Like on sprites, sprites can have PNG file format for RGBA (Red, Green, Blue, Alpha)...

I tried 2 objects, one is ghosted, one is dark ghosted... But dark ghosting leaves white colors semi-alpha.

I don't like the gameplay of FFX-2... But I do like Rikku a lot!!! (I posted 4 fanarts in Rpgfan)

If you did use a .png file on a cube or other objects it would multiply the transparency because of how many polygons are used.

you've basically answered your own question! in your paint program, make a .png file with an alpha channel.

texture your object with the .png file.
set object transparency, xxx, 1 "xxx" is your object number

don't forget the transparency line, or the alpha channel will be ignored.

The method does work, I use it all the time with .X files. Try posting some code/resources and perhaps we can find out what is wrong on your end.

My method of 2 objects, one is ghosted, one is dark ghosted, worked on DBC. I wonder why here in DBPro got some bugs...

Thanks anyways... I'll try to figure it out...
