At the moment I'm making a type of Zelda game. The problem seems to be with the sprites sticking around after I use other keys. Here's an example of my problem...

I press DownKey, It plays an animation
I press LeftKey, It plays an animation
DownKey's animation is still on the screen, It should be gone

The only way to get rid of this is by pressing DownKey, but after that's done, LeftKey's animation is too stuck on the screen.

I've tried using CLS, no luck...

Thank you in advance.

You might post your code...... If it's a bug, it hasn't been mentioned before, so likely your code.

Sure no problem...

Please keep in mind, I did write all this code from memory (I'm at school at the moment.) so there might be some small problems, but basicly this is what it looks like.

I've also tried Adding CLS and Removing CLS at the end and start of the Loops and also in the IFKEY() commands.

Maybe I'm doing the animation the wrong way, but I've looked around the forum and this looks by far the simple way of doing so.

Thanks for the help
Thanks in advance

Try keeping the sprite number the same. Instead of 1 and 2 just use 1 twice.

Also, I'd like to ask, This is probably a simple question...

Why is my Bitmap background in such horrible quality?

Thanks in advance
