No, by too large, we mean too high also. Two of your sigs fill the entire screen!

@Manticore Night

I didn't see this thread so I sent you an email.

Your signature is too large by far I'm afraid. Pricey's signature (above ^^) is the right kind of physical size, but its still too large in terms of filesize.

I can block your sig image, but not everyone has that luxury.

I suggest that you try and make the signature pic. less than 20K if possible. Signatures of 500K or more are annoying even to broadband users.

if it is that big, you may be compensating for some "smaller" problems

It's about the size of a screenshot. It's just for aesthetics. Nice and slim is better than all bloated. I'm running at 1152*864 and that thing is still huge. At 1024*768, that would take up about 1/4 of the screen! It's even bigger than your average advertisement banner!

And honestly, that pic doesn't have much detail to look at

So can i assume you fall in love everytime you see a brick wall?

I agree with kabouter, there really isn't much to look at there.

I made me sig small from the beginning, and i know mine is stupid, its supposed to be. But at least mine in SMALL

His is around 12 k while yours is 435 k.

If you don't reduce its size, I'll start removing your posts.

It's still 133 k. A good example is TCAs sig. His image is only 10 k.

If you can get it down to around 60 k we'll be happy.

Grief, even on a 1600x1200 resolution it's a total eyesore at that size. When I use my laptop (like now) at 1024x800 (standard internet size is it not?) it is really really annoying. I quite like to see more than 2 posts per page, perhaps a bit old fashion...

It becomes stupid to try viewing one of these posts with my IPaq (has a wireless option). Which leads me to the obvious question of why cannot we have an option to turn off people's sigs?

Cheers

Really? I still see the massive red thingy. What is it, 200 pixels high? 300?

I mean it's like twice the height of the DB header at the top.

Smaller than what? My screen? Well, yes. But miles bigger than the header... in *height*. Width is fine.

Warrior cat head? If you say so. Originally thought it was a thargoid type elite spaceship. Can't see what you mean with the cat thing though...

God it takes a second or so to reload every time I click on this thread too. And I'm on 600k broadband too! For a second there it just looks like a massive blank space.
