You should use these settings if you want your exported diffuse texture to have an outline of every face (if you can't tell yet, the diffuse image is the base texture it exports and the name of the texture the model requires should you have the texture just load with the model in DBPro or what not).

As for what group, I assign my groups so it isn't as bad when I project it onto the final texture. I usually set the front torso to one group, the back torso to another, the front arm to one, the back arm to another, the front leg to one, the back leg to another, then use the last three for the head (when assigning groups to a human model anyway). Really, the groups dont matter, you just assign them in a way that you want your texture groups to look like in the final texture (and you also assign smoothing groups this way too, so if you just randomly assign groups to your faces, its going to look really off in the final object).
