It has no relevence so I'm not watching it. Instead I'm working out why explorer crashes when trying to access my other computers. It appears that possibly the cable wasn't in properly...

I was going to go to PC World to get a new network card, so I think I've saved myself some money

I'm hoping we get 0 points again. Haven't watched it for several years though. Complete rubbish.

Apparently 100 million people still tune in for the drivel though. Went down hill after Abba won if you ask me...

Did inspire one of the best Father Ted episodes though. My lovely horse... chortle...

Cheers

Sheesh, we haven't been enthusiastic about it since around the time Bucks Fizz won. And even then we were nowhere near as enthusiastic as when Cliffy almost won. When he was about 50 or so

The girls were very nice though - had too much clothing on though...

But isn't it now a semi-final and a final or somesuch? So surely not going to get hundred + points anymore? Dunno... or care much actually....

Heh, liked it a couple of years ago when they had a relegation type effort for the bottom X countries. When the UK became one of these X countries (very rare BTW) it strangely didn't happen. Apparently is because of all the dosh we shovel into the rubbish. They thought the usual crowd would be at the bottom.

You have to laugh with Terry's comments as he gets more drunk though. And those good old backstabbing countries, and the ones that are friendly to each other. Heh.

Cheers

Ah, I used to quite like it. Not for the music. Mainly for Terry, and the voting. Got quite fun. Esp if you are in the company of a few multinational friends, and then things can get quite hectic. Esp if there is a lot of alcohol involved.

Cheers

I like it when he predicts some voting behaviour and it happens exactly as he says. And then he moans a bit, after obviously knocking back some tonic or other.

It's still a huge thing in lots of European countries. They put millions of pounds into funding it.

In Britain it's a national joke.

Wogan was great as always.

IMO the best one was in Latvia last year. People may scoff at it bit I find it an entertaining evening

Why did Xena Warrior Princess have to win it?!?!?

It's just one big political joke!

The Cypriots here were going mad for it - I could not believe what I was seeing.
I was in a bar and they had it on in there. There were Cypriots, English, Russians, Croatians, Finns and a couple in the corner who's nationality I could not determine.
It actually became quite interesting - not watching the show but watching the people watching the show.

The Swedish entry cracked me up, how can you sing about pain with so much energy and a massive smile on your face? Apparently to Swede's it comes naturally.

The scoring on Eurovision makes me laugh, I think we should enter Wales, Scotland, and Cornwall as seperate entries to boost our score, although that would probably help France more than us.

God created the world in 7 days, but we're still waiting for the patch.
