If you don't know anything about British TV then this'll be as clear as mud, but anywhoo..

BBC 2 has lost the rights to the simpsons, right? That exaplins why it isn't on anymore - but where, and when, will it be shown on a nwe channel (dnt say Sky 1 - thats obvious). Plllleeeaasseee help! I'm going insane without my daily does of (non self inflicted) stupidty!

As far as I'm aware Channel 4 got the rights to it.

C4 is supposed to be showing The Simpsons much later on in the year - showing at (apparently) 11pm (for some reason) and 6pm. See the BBC Cult web site...

Well, it is for joining a cult... cult programs that is. The problem with the BBC site that it is very, very slow (and occupied by youngsters and those who cant spell)... Oh, and I sometimes post there too.

I don't want to annoy you but i just have to say it when i see you suffering from weeks without seeing the Simpsons:

In Switzerland i you can watch 4 episodes a day sometimes even 5 (not all on Swiss TV but also German and Austrian TV...)

Sorry, but it's soooo funny

5 episodes a day?

That's 2 and a half hours of television.
Don't you have any work to do?

Ah forgot that there's also 1 futurama episode a day

I mean you could watch 4 episodes a day if you had unlimited freetime
a little timetable:
14.45 1st Simpsons on austrian TV (i'm at school then)
15.15 2nd Simpsons on austrian TV (i'm still at school then)
17.00 Futurama on Swiss TV (most of the time still at school to this time)
18.20 3rd Simpsons on Swiss TV (that's the first one i can watch, except for Thursdays)
(18.30 Simpsons on German TV but not very often)
19.00 4th Simpsons on German TV

Quote: "5 episodes a day - nice..."

AGREEEEEEEEEED

But however it's not perfect in Switzerland as they never show South Park here, because they find it too provocative to show in the afternoon so they only show it Saturday night at 1.00 am

Gah, we have so much Simpsons running here it's not funny. On Foxtel we have 8 episodes on the weekends (16 total) and about 4 every weekday, then we have free-to-air TV which has 1 or 2 a day also. So I guess if you watched every episode you could (provided it was possible), you'd see 24 episodes per week which is around 12 hours. Crazy.

I think he meant to edit but ended up posting a new post by accident.

Unfortunately, of all those episodes, only one is new.
