So...What are you asking???

IF you are trying to make a database than their are plugins that let you do that if you have DBP.

TCA's plugin has database functions.
If you want to make your own dbp exe that acts like a database without using one behind the scenes, that's a different story

In that case, I'm afraid that you have a very long road ahead of you.

you can make some lightweight functions that could act as a database within your dbp app, but to make a standalone app that is a database (in dbp)...ouch

You wish

I have a storage plug-in on my site and one custom one that I'm using. TCA has two SQL plug-ins on his. CR is quite capable of writing database access routines in his plug-in.

Doing a database app using DBPro isn't quite impossible, but as you are posting in the newcomers forum, I think you can consider it out of your reach for some time to come.

Thanks
And I will just add that since TCA and IanM have all of the Dbase stuff covered in their fine plugins I saw no need to make another version

get the plugin (.DLL)
copy it into

C:\Program Files\Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\Plugin-User

the plugin should come with a readme file which has the cmmand list for the plugin... do as it says

Im not a rubbish programmer...Everyone else is just better than me....
