Ok, I'm refixing up a program that I made for myself. But someone said it's so good I should share it with everyone. It's media player for people who like to watch movies and do otherstuff at the same time. Now, for the PROBLEM!!!(arg, scary). It's made in VB and I don't have a version that can make EXE's. I'm not sure if this belongs in the team request, but whatever. I'm recuiting someone to EXE my prog. You will get full credit. I can't buy the EXE capable version because it's been discontinued. Someone, please, HELP!!!

I have VB6 learning edition and it can make EXE's. What version of VB did you use? I thought all of them could make exe's? Anyway, I'd be glad to make an exe for you, just let me know the details.

Signature? No! Obsolete! These days it's all about chip and pin!

VB5 and 6 have the option to build asm exe's, but when run from the IDE it runs an interpretted version. Older versions of vb were interpretted only.

Some "Learning Editions" of vb6 only let the program run from the IDE which is interpretted, and not allow you to build the asm exe. Basically a form of crippleware. That's probably what he has.

Did it come with a book?

Actually I've been using VB since version 2 and they've all made EXE's.

The Personal Learning Edition doesn't build EXE's, it only runs in the IDE (exactly what CR said, I know) it's basically what they give out to students and what comes with books. The idea is that Microsoft teach them how to use the language and when it comes to them wanting to make something with it, they have to buy it.

Basically look on Ebay for the versions that do compile to an EXE. (i.e. VB6 Standard or VB6 Enterprise).

I saw a free version of VB.NET somewhere in the MSDN website... Not sure if it compiles .exe but VB.NET is very different from VB6.
