saw it on techtv last night. Each card draws either the upper or lower half of the screen. Then they did a demo where they independently switched each card on/off while someone was in the midst of a game - no hiccups - pretty sick. Forgot which game, think it was latest UT.

anyone else see that?

anyway its a piece of hardware that can be added into any pci express box, available later this year - may come standard on certain AW boxes

Flipping sweet. And what a way to compare ATI and nVidia cards-- hey, the lower half of my screen is blurry !

Ahh ... takes you back to the days of SLi Voodoo 2
difference was they interlaces rendering lines; but still the same concept.

Just think how awesomely fast you could play Unreal 3 using SLi 6800 Ultra ^_^ hehee

lets see:
2 PCI-X cards was an 80% boost over a single pci express
1 PCI-X card crushes AGP 8X into dust (look up the specs)

fast enough?

was just saying it was interesting and asking if anyone else saw it - I wasn't trying to sell it to you
