Hey all,
I've had a go at a model and thought I might as well use LithUnwrap, which I downloaded but never had a look at. I did a simple model in Milkshape saved it, opened it in Lith and shock horror, my brasin exploded. Or it almost did, there was nothing but triangls as far as the eye could see and I didn't have a clus what to do, just incase you don't see what all the fuss was abput |I've included some pics, just for you (sorry about the large size but any smaller and I couldn't see any detail.

The screen went from this.

To this.

Does anybody know of any tutorials for Lith or can even help me them selves because I've finally come to realise that Milkshape can't really handle complex textures but I don't want to spend money on a program when I can get ne just as good for free.

Hey all, I'm back
The tut was great but I'm kind of still stuck on what could possibly be the simplest thing ever, assinging a texture to a group. I made a simple texture in GIMP 512x512 in size and saved it as a JPG. I then go into Lith and hide all groups except the guns grip, which is what I'm trying to apply the texture to. I do everything it says in the tut about adding a new material etc except instead of choosing checker I go to bitmap and choose my image and click ok. I then select the grip group, right click on the grip texture but the bit that says apply is greyed out, meaning I can't apply the texture. Please help someone as I've tried everything I can think of but just can't apply a simple texture and I really don't want to be stuck with using MilkShape's texturing features for the rest of my life.
