How do I texture an object? I mean, I know the command and all of the programming stuff, but I haven't really understood how the computer wraps the image file around the object. If I would have to create an image file like texture for an object, where should I start drawing? Isn't there a programme around that lets you draw on the object and then gives you an image file to texture the object with(understood what I tried to tell you?)?
Please help
Thanks

You can draw the texture in any art package(MSPaint or other better)

Then load the image and use the texture object command and you got it, the command warp the object with the texture.

Have a search for programs for "UV Mapping" this is the process that different parts of an image are mapped to different parts of an object.
