I was wondering, where do I look in my game directory in order to find houses I've made, and secondly, how do I know which house file is which? I am wondering because my friend wants me to give him the house I made, and I dont know where the file is located.

You might be able to find out at the sims web page under exchange section but don't quote me on that. I know that they have plugins with items in them but I am not sure if they tell you how to make your own that you can distribute. It is possible though.
