Is there a way to make a sprite not be shown in certain areas of the screen. For example, can I set 2 x/y coords and have it only shown in that area. I want to do this so I can have a digital scrolling compus effect. Otherwise I would have to animate it with 360 frames

for a compus, use 1 sprite for its background. A second sprite for the needle, and just rotate the sprite accordingly.
