look i've been at darkbasic for 2 1/2 years and still not been able to find anyone who can tell me how to do it!You see, my broblem is charecters. First of all, has anyone played a fps without a gun and instead a sword that is in first-person mode? If you have can you respond with another forum, and tell me wich game you are talking about, it should be called something like Morralwind:The Elder scrolls. By the way, i'm using dbclassic. If you know everything above do you want to help me figure out how to do this? And i know if you want to make a team you should go to team requests but nobody will join me or help me there, i'm not really asking for a team i'm just asking for more help than normal, and i'll try helping. Please, atleast can someone try to help?!

I've played jedi Knight....1st person light saber...and eye of the beholder....There's a dbpro tutorial in the New comers corner check that out...then ask how to convert in the forums....as for the characters I'll be out of town for a couple of weeks so I can't help you there....maybe when I get back....I'm making a great rpg game...I'm going to make my base models available as soon s they're done and animated....: ) Hope this helps....also try Gamespace light they have free charcters with the prog you could use them to get a basic idea as to how your game engine works and work on the programming for the game...

It's more a 3rd person game but Die By the Sword was pretty cool, especially because the mouse directly controlled the sword in a smooth fashion...

Helpwise, no can do. I'm probably worse at DB then you!

I remember something even more old school. Witchaven. Doom 1 style graphics, with swords, axes, and polearms, and plenty of dismemberment.
