I started work on a world editor, then made a slightly different version for a starfox clone(look in the WIP forums for the starfox thread) and so I thought I would post it here so you guys can try it. It allows editing a 50x50 matrix, and object loading. At the moment only 9 files can be displayed in the popup box but thats life, I'll fix it soon.

http://www.excaver.com/downloads/starfoxleveleditor.rar

To run it you'll need to put a texture.jpg and water.jpg in the same directory as the EXE. The program will create a config file(if there isnt already one) which you can edit to use different textures(dont change the other values in the file though).

I've still got stuff to add(for instance, you can only view 9 object files in the box for adding objects). So next I'll allow unlimited model files to be viewed in that popup box, then I'll add a button to switch to object mode(while in object mode the mouse won't dissapear), multiple object selecting+moving, etc. Also I'll wanna allow matrices to be of any size with any amount of tiles, which I'll add also. Come to think of it, I havent yet added the functions for smoothing and sharpening the matrix O_o. If you have any ideas or find any bugs then be sure to let me know!
^ Taken from the starfox thread.

Tell me what you guys think!

Hey PetRat, if you want to have hotlinking to images, use here....

http://www.photobucket.com/

Completely free, and unlimited image uploads, just has a limit of the image size.
