is it possible to make animated models usable in the 3d game maker?
I am teaching a class on how to make low poly objects and charcters or use in real time apps/ video games. I thought that since i have no skills in programming t3dgm would make it so my students could just plug in their finished objects and characters. I have dark basic and DBpro but i can't seem to get the programming end wrapped around my head. I know that FPSC will probably address everything I need for my class but it isn't out yet!!! ARRRGH.
PS. If anyone who is in the proper position to do anything...
Any chance on an educational discount on FPSC when it comes out?
I am teaching at a community college and they don't give too much of a budget for new and unproven software. They like to stick with what they know or have heard of. Maybe I can get some people hooked on it if I were able to introduce some people to it.
BTW... We are more of an art school than a programming schoool so please save your selves your energy if you feel like suggesting the school learn DB or DBPro. They would never even consider having to learn something like programming.
Thanks in advance for any help/ideas/suggestions.
