what have you tried? Reading the manual alone may not be the way for you, maybe follow some intro tutorials or something?

Make hundreds of small examples and store them all as you go along so you can reference them later on.

Theres a lot of ways to do the same thing so have versions in your naming.

Add a few commands you understand now then add one you dont, slowly you learn a lot and can do stuff but learn them all and you have more tools and or commands at your disposal.

These guys are great they have collected very and i mean very nice code snippits and put it into one data base if you are a beginner like me use this darkbasic tutor database and learn further its gonne help you a lot here is there website link
