Hey all,

I don't know how many people know about it, but Swift 3D is an awesome Raster to Vector converter for 3D images for import into flash... ( It's also a 3D modeler and animatior, but these features are not very good unfortunatly )

I have been using it for a few days now ( a mate gave it to me ), and am thinking of buying the full V3 package...

One thing though... It seems that if I "upgrade" it'll only cost me USD$89 as opposed to USD$169... And I was thinking, if I can get my hands on a copy of V1, or even V2 for less than USD$80, then I would save money by registering that, then "upgrading" to the latest.

Does anyone know of where I could get a copy of this at all?
I've tried Amazon and eBay, and I've googled it till I started to get Pornographical results ( which is weird seen as I searched for "buy Swift 3D v2 -review -news -v3" )...

Any help would be much appreciated

For those that don't know what Swift 3D is... Or are looking for a way to have 3D in Flash, have a look at the Swift 3D DevLab to see what it is capable of!!
And have a look at the Desk Top Scene That I've created... ( 355KB with no loading bar )

Thanks,
Jess.

yeah its a great package.
theres another prominent 3d to swf exporter as well thats on par with swift3d but i cant remember the name at the momo.

there was also spinoff of mikshape that exported to swf as well.

the only problem with those packages is sometimes it spews out too much data and hence slowdown.

The best way to use them is to export just what is required and place them via media in flash itself.

I export swf frames so i have control of how many i can use to save a little bandwidth.

swish and 3d flash animator are two other packages for swf export.
swish is more geared to text effects but 3d flash animator can export 3d files.

mind you both these programs are tiny compared to swift 3d and that other i cant remember for the life of me

Roflmao, click the little white dot at the top of the page at: http://www.swift3d.com/ - It's amusing. There's one in the bottom right corner as well but it does the same thing.

@N30F15H, Yeah, I had a look on eBay, and that turned up nothing...

@indi, I've had a look at Swish before, and I think I didn't like it ( was a long time ago )... 3D Flash Animator, haven't heard of it, I might have a look. Thanks.
And, yeah, the file sizes can be pretty darn large sometimes unfortunatly...

@Exeat, Yeah, I saw that before... It's a great site all round.

So noone know's where I could get a V1 or anything like that? Thanks anyway.

Jess.
