Apparently, making a crappy videogame adaptation from a movie will land you in very hot water from now on.

This is obviously good news, to a point. If anyone wants to know who to thank, its all down to Mary-kate and Ashley Olsen, those scrumptious lil American twins. They are the first people to successfully sue a company for making a BAD video game, because it decreases the "good name" of their "brand". And yes I'm aware not every1 finds them attractive. But I do, so lay off lmao

PS Tapewormz: Love your Tattoo, got a bigger pic of it? I went to your site. Cool artwork, but no bigger pic.

Movies and films are not the same media, as in not 100% compatible. Like saying to an artist.....

"Draw a picture of my latest song!"

or....

"Make some music for my latest maths project!"

There is a gap between the two things that is very small, but significant.

Naturally, but good games can always be made, and there's nothing stopping developers from turning down an offer from a movie studio if they don't think they can make a good game from it . This is just enforcing what in a better world wouldn't have to be enforced.

A LOTR RPG would never work because you'd want to have choice but it would have to stick to the story line that everyone already knows anyway.

Thus they'd have to be combat intenstive instead of role playing intesive... which is what the games have basically been, 2/3 action and 1/3 RPG.
