When i try to download some types of files like .msi and .dll it opens up a new window and displays the code that makes up these file .how do i change this?

Im not sure but i think its a bug. Look around their site or release notes.

There's not an easy way that I know of to get it to download them automatically. What I do is right-click-->save as...
