Hello. I have a general question about making a 2d rpg. I want to program my own game in c++ and not a game development engine but I am not sure how to get started, like do I need a main game file and what might it contain. I am not asking how to program, I can program pretty adequately in c++ and some other languages but I just don't know where exactly to get started. I think if somebody could give me a link to somewhere that might help me get started I could get a good game made pretty quick! Thanks for any help!
