This is really a 20-liner but everyone knows that board is pretty much dead.

I was thinking about making a Wolf remake so I made this.
It took me about 3 hours:

It's amazing how if you put a few dots in the right places you're immeadiately convinced that you're walking round a 3D area.

Arrow keys to move, mouse to look.

Make sure you walk backwards at the start else everything will be reversed (it still draws everything even when it's behind the camera)

wo man, i'm really interested in this, do you think that you can make a function libary for a whole engine? with simpel primitives etc. BTW this is really nice
do you think that this is faster than an normal 3d eninge?

cheers,

if I = 1 then I = 1 else I = 0

The reason I'm making this is because I wanted to code some shaders into it (like depth of field).

Seeing as I'm telling it how to draw everthing anyway I should be able to draw it blurred quite easily and, you shouldn't need a 3DFX card to do it.

The speed tests I've run so far are a bit slow but I should be able to get it up with some little tricks.

I should have a demo soon that draws everything blurred. Then I should be able to add them together into a depth of field thingy.

Here's a very crude blur example:

Spacekey to put it out of focus

As you can see the speed dies pretty much completely.

the DBP basic 2d commands are way to slow for this , would be impossible to create a 3d engine with it

Lock the backbuffer to make the 2D drawing faster...

Visit http://www.mighty-atom.com/d-zone for the Transform-i scripting engine project.
