Newcomers DBPro Corner / Cannot load a list of bitmaps

Hi all,

I am trying to load bitmaps from a directory.

I first discover the files with perform checklist for files then grab the filename using checkist string$()

When I try to load bitmap using the filename I get a runtime error 1003 - Could not load bitmap.

I can, however, use the filename to either copy or open for read.

What am I doing wrong?

This command is missing an image ID:

load bitmap filetoload$

Try something like:

load bitmap filetoload$, rpt-2

--

FYI, load image is more versatile and will load other image formats.
