Looks like there's nobody here who uses the "3D Gamemaker" any longer. It's too bad that there's not a special area for people to talk about this product. Nevertheless, I think someone here might be able to help.

What I mainly want are 3D models & animated models that are already in DirectX (.X) format [the program only works with that format]. Can someone tell me of a place with free models that I could use so I can enjoy the "Gamemaker" more? Or perhaps there is a CD title of nothing but 3D models in .X that I could probably find in a store or on eBay?

You could try DarkMatter (buy it from this site) for a CD full of models, or have a look at http://www.3dcafe.com for a few freebies.

Apparently, most of the DarkMATTER models are already in T3DGM, and DarkMATTER 2 models aren't compatible.

I'm afraid that you'll probably need to make your own.

I checked out the newsletters. In issue 12, there were some free models from both "DarkMATTER" 1 and 2; all of them were in '.X' (as required by the "3D Gamemaker") and none of these models were already included with the program. So, it looks like I'll be getting these.
