Hi there,
has anyone some more in depth info on how to import animated models into DarkBasic. I am especialy interested which version on X models is supported (dx8 or dx7).
What about mdl mdl2 and all the other Quake/Halflife model formats?
At the moment i am only getting statich models into DB, and that can not be the solution i am looking for :-(
Cheers
Heiner

What program are you using to model/animate?

I am using Animation Master as Main application, and from there i do 3ds or x export. Then i have the option to go trough 3DsMax 3, Gmax, Cinema 4d, Gamespace light or the model editor of Conitecs 3D engine.
Idealy i would like to import DX8 models. But i would not mind goint trough a mdl format or whatsoever.
Does anybody know if the demo version is limited, because i can not import any .mdl files
Cheers
Heiner
