I am looking to start making games. Does anyone know if I can make a quality game using only DBPro and Lightwave? If not, what other programs should I get?

you can make quality games with just DBPro! this language is the easiest that i have ever found and will definately get you on your way to coding........of coarse you start pretty slow with basic games, but all i use is DBPro and Milkshape

cheers,
Bish

Yes you very much can! The only real limitations I have run into myself are that of how much im willing to put into it.

haha yeah, I agree with DarkSin. BTW I haven't used lightwave yet but I use 3D Studio MAX R3 and MilkShape, you can visit these images of my tank game for seeing what you can do with DBC. If they do look really good...imagine when it's on DBP!

Sorry for not putting the images here but they're big (800x600)

/edit: and..uhh..don't look at the FPS...they're damn low, but if you look at my system specs you'll now why (in my sig ) I'm sure that with all the super PC's you all have out there it will run on 150-500 FPS
