Ok, I just posted in Z's pi Thread, and look at what came up when I hit the "Post" button:

( Click for larger [ 1024x768, 60kB ] Image )

As you can see from the image, this isn't a pop-up, or anything else like that, it is simply part of the page when it loaded.

[EDIT]

I had to scroll down ( off the bottom of the screen ) to be able to see the page ( besides the naviagation bar which you can see in the screeny ) and when I resized the page, the ad resized with it so that I only just had to scroll off the bottom of the page to see the forum.

It isn't the forum, so I take back all that I have just said, and apologise for wasting your time.

[/EDIT]

Jess.

Get yourself some spyware removal software because that advert is nothing to do with us. We use Google AdWords only and they sure as hell don't appear like that!

Yeah, looks like one of those annoying flash-style popups that try and sit on top of everything else.

Spybot Search and Destroy is pretty good, updated regularly, and most importantly free. You'd be surprised at just how much crud some websites will try and throw at you.

lol, don't you like spyware ads that advertise how to stop spam. Quite ironic.

That' sig's MASSIVE!

I usually have sig images turned off - its a bit of a culture shock when I accidentally log out and see them all

It's all good, I shouldn't have any more problems with adware anymore...

Last night I formatted the family PC ( the one on the net ). So no more to worry about, cos I have installed extra security too

Again, I am sorry for this thread.

Jess.

Yeah, You have to watch out for spyware on the internet. I hate the little bastards that reinstall themselves even though you delete them.
