Whether it's blueberry, cherry, apple, rhubarb, boysenberry,
pineapple, strawberry, pumpkin, chocolote, minced meat, chicken
pot, turkey pot, beef pot, Miss American, upside-down, mexican,
fruit, or pizza...

Pies are great.

Was I responsible for starting this whole Pie thing in the forums?
First, I made an algorythm that encripted using Pi as a key. The
message I encrypted, was PIEAREROUND. (have you ever seen a square Pie?) Then there was that other thread (about useless facts, I think...) where I mentioned that I'd memorised 18 digits of PI. Then came that other Pi thread. Now this!

In sumary, a pie is the best food to have around. Unless, it's shrimp pie, then it deserves to be banished to the deapths of the refrigerator for the rest of eternity.

Billberry pie, apple pie , mmmmmmmm. I also like rubard crumble with custard. Crumbles are so much nicer than the boring pastry.

Lemon merangue rocks!

But I reckon you can't beat cherry pie.

In Scotland we have 'Bean n tottie' pies - basically a mince pie with a topping made of a wad of mashed potato, topped with baked beans - it's the kind of thing you scoff down while waiting on a bus.

The worst is when you get a hot greasy pie and some ice cold coke - then take a bite and a mouthfull of coke then spend the rest of the day trying to get congealed fat off the roof of your mouth.

You can't forget pasties!!! They're pies! I love cheese and onion pasties but the cornish ones too (although I dont eat too many now I'm veggie )

Oh, I thought I'd mention something else while I'm here. It's not a pie, but it's still amazing. Anyone ever tried a deep fried mars bar?

Jrowe - I've tried making deep fried mars bar, only we didn't have any batter, or much oil, so it was more like a shallow fried mars bar. The oil mixed with the chocolate and made it rather sickly .

I've tried a deep fried creme egg - if you don't know, a creme egg is a Cadburys chocolate egg (about 1" wide) full of sickly white and yellow goo stuff. It made me vomit - but admitedly it was on the way home from the pub.

Modifying blueberry pie requires Modify level four or greater. Please locate your nearest pie-netic terminal and upgrade your statistics with berries. You'll probaly meet some shotgun hyrbids along the way. Roger wilco; wash, rinse and repeat. Over and out!
