Simple question. Does DBPro support multi-texturing and to what extent or do you have to trick it(load a texture in 2d put another ontop and save as a separate texture)?

multi-texturing is currently only supported by the .dbo format, and as far as I know the only program that can create a multi-textured .dbo object is Gile[s].

Well, you can also set several multitexturing commands within the program itself, such as set light mapping on and set detail mapping on. Although they might not be as useful for levels and the like, they should be pretty handy for applying non-static effects like blood stains, team colours/logos, etc.

As for tricking it, I don't think you really need to, unless you want lots of textures. I'm don't know how many it can handle on one model, but I'm sure someone here does!

Thanks I have all I needed to know now. I'm starting a huge project and will give the forums snippets and updates as it progresses.
