Thanks to Jess, i have had a few downloads of my IDE . Well i thought for those people who downloaded it last night i would just say, thanks for looking at it, tell me what i can do to improve it.

My IDE is for the Borland C++ 5.5 Command Line tools.

Another short message was that i updated the program and the latest setup this morning as well. The latest version of the IDE is now 1.0.0.22, i have found a bug that allowed you to open more than one instance of a file. I have fixed this.
I also (in my profound wisdom) forgot to put in an edit menu, which has now been added.

Thanks to the people that downloaded the IDE, i have started work on it again. So the more people that download and try it, the more work i will do on it. Anyway, this was more to say thanks to the people who downloaded my prog and thanks to JessTicular for telling people about it.

Thanks again

P.S I also have plans to develop something called GDS (Game development System). This will include:

- A customisable IDE for DBpro and DB
- File manager for image files, models etc
- A code keeper, for all those handy bits of code that get lost in large game files
- image and 3d file viewer to help you make games quicker
- Internal Scripting language
- Maybe even Macro's
- And More

I have now also update the IDE to version 1.0.0.23. This version detects if you have the help files installed, if you do you can view them

More news on the IDE:

I have improved the compiling facility in the IDE. It is now more accurate when telling you about errors and whether the exe has been created or not.
The version is now 1.0.0.24, this is available via web update or through downloading the setup.

Thankyou again for all of you who downloaded my IDE over the weekend, the action of the downloads has prompted me to make another change to the IDE.
The editor will now have line numbers added into it. I am working on it at the moment but i expect to have this completed by the end of the week and an update should be available.
The version will be 1.0.0.25

I will also be adding more to the toolbar (if you use it!)

Well i have been working quicker than i thought!

The line numbers have now been added to the editor, you can turn the line numbers on or off by going into the IDE options and setting the option there.

I will release an updated setup in about 6 hours. You can also get this update by doing a web update, so if you don't want to wait for an updated setup (if you havn't downloaded the program already), get the program and do a web update.

Happy Coding

Latest Update:

The software has now got an option to view the compile results in a different screen, seperate from the compile screen, this makes the results easier to read!

Oh i am now closing this post and writing in a new one to to make sure everyone knows what is going on.
