of adding the following features to the forum?
1) a "search" option
2) first/last (page) buttons. The "Next xx" sometimes is a pain in ... well, you know [img][/img]

Yeah, those would be nice. Ohh and when you click on the latest reply in the forum list, can you make it goto the last page? - if there's 4 or 5 pages it can be a real pain to flick through the pages (especially on a dialup connection).

It would be great if the board showed the number of pages so you can click on the number of the page you wanna go to, like all other forums do... When using the previous/next buttons the color of new posts turns to normal, would be great if that was fixed. They shouldn't turn normal unless you leave the thread or post a reply.

All of these features (and more) will come next year when I work for DBS full-time.

Cheers,

Ok, can i ask/sugest one more thing?

When i post my signature is posted along with it right?

Would it be better/faster to make put the signature in when the post is viewed.

So that the signature is not stored with the post, but in a seperate table and loaded when viewed.

Well only a sugjestion...

I went outside once and my FPS rate dropped to 5.

Loading time is very good here...

It's not that it's not good at RGT in fact it's almost the same...BUT,the main page is a bit slower...Not here though...not yet and hopefully never.

Yeah a last page link would be damned useful. Also how about an automated email when a topic you are watching is updated? Many boards have this and I find it useful

Yeah, but I keep Outlook running in the background checking every 5 mins, and keep my pc on at least 12 hours a day while I am working so its useful. Obviously you should be able to turn it on or off

Don't forget to remove the snippet button or make it be compatible with non-IE browsers... makes it very boring to be like a MUST use IE... I just hate it.
