before you write a program for newbies it might be a good idea if you learn some more of Darkbasic yourself, I looked at your code and the built in help and examples cover the subject better and they are built into the editor, right where you want them, maybe you should get some more practice before tackling such a large project.

Bit of a shame as I just spent 5mins replying to it with what was wrong with it.

Oh well think it better gone.

I've written tutorials on:
your own particle engine
creating a database system
image memblocks

Not to mention the number of small functions I've written in reply to users' questions.

It's good that he wants to help others. But I think he needs to learn a bit more himself before trying to do so. Oh, and that fact he's trying to charge $1 for "da codez". That's fine and all, but I don't think anyone is going to fall for that. From what I can understand from his "demo", I think he's selling a list of DB commands.

Instead of trying to "provide" the codes, how about you write tutorials on how to "use" the codes instead. That would be much more helpful to people.

I think the nerd is pretty innocent, not like he came here to make trouble or with an excedingly stupid idea like some people.

It's good that your trying to help, but most people won't go to the bother with paying $1 for some code, when there is pleanty around, easily accessible already for free.

He says he's deleted the program, so relax.

Learn more DB, then maybe you could write stuff and sell it, but in the mean time post anything you think is good in the code snippets forum or the codebase, where people can access it for free .
