I have been trying to download the updates for the IDE and as it says I need to install 1.0.9 first I have been trying to download this. Only thing is, it keeps telling me that the file is unavailable? Is there something wrong with the system?

Which type of DarkBASIC. Which IDE?
How can we help you if we don't know these things?
Not trying to be mean but you could get many different answers and not know which one is right...

I suspect you are refering to the default IDE. I just tried the download link and get the same error.

There are 2 things you can do:

1. Email thegamecreators and tell them that the link is down explaining that it is BOTH of the links on the following page: http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?f=ide
You can contact them by going to the following page: http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?m=contact_support

or

2. Change IDE. There are some good ones out there. Search for Twilight, BlueIDE, JaPROe, or darkriders editor (not sure what its called) on the program annoucements and work in progress forums.

We moved over to a new file server a few days ago, guess this directory never made it across - am re-uploading it now, will be ready in 10mins or so.

Hey mate, give the guy a break. I immediately understood his question and it seems everybody else did too.

Cheers

Yea, Its got pretty apparent he was talking about the default IDE when he said "1.0.9"
