Has anyone made a program or function that can adjust the colors in a bitmap to change the hue? I can do this really easily and quickly with Corel Photopaint, which I do, but I have to store 8 of every texture in my data folder because there are 8 different colors you can be. It would be better to only have to store one of them and adjust the colors in the game. It would use the same amount of memory and less hard drive space.
I will give full credit to anyone who could help me out with it. Memblocks would probably be the best way to go. Getting the color of a pixel is really really slow with the "get color()" command (something like that.)
I hope I don't bug anyone by asking this. Please don't think that you have to waste your time on with my problems. I could figure this out if I really wanted to. But aren't we all a little lazy once in a while?
So, anyone up to the challenge? Remember, DB Classic.
