what did you guys think about that movie? I thought it was really bad. The story was unoriginal, and durring the combat sceens the camera waved around so much that I couldn't see what was going on. People think that It will be more dramatic if you wave the camera around so you can't see a thing thats happening.

anways enough with my rambling, what do you think...

From the trailer it looked as bad as watching 2001 in slow motion. One film I wont be seeing.

Sorry you feel that way.

It had it's downs, wasn't the best movie ever, but it had a great story and was very cool. Some of the actors were pretty bad though...heh.

Overall I liked it. Plus I'm not one to judge a movie by it's trailer.

If a trailer doesn't grab me then I dont see the film. I wait for it to be shown on TV (if its worth watching at all).

I'll be seeing Garfield; I, Robot; Alien V Predator (probably); Thunderbirds (maybe) and Shrek 2.

Yup. We all have a little kid inside us, wanting to watch these sort of films.
I've always like the Garfield cartoons, hence the reason for seeing the film. Shrek 1 was good, hence the reason for seeing the second.
Thunderbirds is iffy - always found the TV series slightly boring, and the trailer doesn't look too good...

Like indie films or foreign films, they're usually more original.

It's amazing how much TV has raised us. (Bart Simpson)

There's a THUNDERBIRDS movie coming out!?! This I have to see.

I also want to see I, Robot, which is based on one of my favourite books. However, the storyline for the movie doesn't match the book and I hate Will Smith movies, so go figure.

I don't think the Thunderbirds film will be any good, mainly because the actors aren't big headed puppets on strings with weird arm movements .

So you're saying that Garfield 'grabbed' you but Riddick didn't? Hrm.

Yeah, will probably watch that because it is a Will Smith sci-fi action movie, not because of the book. Looks nothing like the book.

As to the Riddick moving camera effort, it isn't that sort of effect thats supposed to make it more real to the audience is it? You know, like *you* are actually there holding a camcorder? Much like Starship troopers did really well (you were looking out of the news cameraman's camera), but Starship troopers 2 did really really really badly. ie. so much movement that you can't see whats going on and everything blurs. ie2. no money whatsoever. God I hated Starship troopers 2....

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Yes - haven't you seen the trailer for Garfield?

The first half hour or so was a complete bore, although once the action gets started its quite good...

trailer on the site looks good for Riddick, but the Animé looks sweet as sweetness (nowt on GitS Innocence though)

Garfield looks interesting, but Odie/Nermal not bing animated too just makes it weird; and the actor playing john doesn't look enough like a looser.
and there seems to be something off with Garfields voice, similar but just not quite the same as the cartoon.

Thunderbirds did look interesting; but a multi-million dollar hollywood movie, just ruins the entire 'cult'-ness that made thunderbirds appealing again back in the 90s.

I-Robot looks awesome though as does Shark Tale and Shrek 2

Well, they couldn't use Lorenzo Music as otherwise they would need to extract him from his grave...And then he might not want to say much...
Bill Murray sounds the same as the late Lorenzo most of the time fortunately.

Looks like being a good film...
