i have gotten it to work b4 in this program but it wont know, here is the code that is giving me some trouble:

mainmenu:
cls
print "hello: ";name1$;
print "Main Menu";
print "";
print "1) Calculator";
print "";
print "2) Guess the number";
print "";
input "Your Choice: "; mmchc$

im new but i wanna learn

Lose the semicolons they attach the next print command to the same line.
