Since im fairly new to darkbasic i decided to start making a text based rpg, i have most of the engine done i just can't figure out how to let the person save there game. For example when the game starts i would like to ask for a username and password and when they enter that in. If it is correct they can continue from where they left off, The game involes certain stats and i would like the player to be able to keep those stats even when the player exits the game. So when the player logs back in they will have the same stats and everything else the same as it was when they saved the game. isn't there a way i can make it so when the peron saves the game it stores there data on the harddrive of that computer so next time they play they can start where they left off. Please help me out with this

If you've pre determined the world variables, then you'll need to export all of those variables to a file using the file commands. You'll need to design your own parsing system to load the variables and assign them.

Hands down the funniest synopsis for a game ever. All your base are belong to us!
