Oh, I get it.

You just have to follow through increasingly complex code. I don't have enough knowledge of HTML or JavaScript.

Passwords for the first two levels:

How come level 3 wont work for me, isnt the answer "red" ?

There's no problem so large it can't be solved by killing the user off, deleting their files, closing their account and reporting their REAL earnings to the IRS.

I played this during my lunch-hour today. I got stuck at level 8. All the other levels were just variations on the same hard-coded password theme.

[EDIT]Just figured it out - level 9 next[/EDIT]
[EDIT]That one was actually quite easy - Level 10 next[/EDIT]

Look at the top of the page to see where linkcolor is defined.

For level seven, what you have to do is save the page and then look at the source because it doesent give you a chance with those popups.

When it says "SECURITY LEVEL 6 - ENTER", right click on "enter" and save the page (save target/link as...) From there its easy.

@IanM
Could you give me a hint on level 9? I cant figure it out!

Close, try and find the hex value instead of the word 'red'.

Quote: "Well, there's an awful lot of html in that one isn't there? "

Yes, you wouldn't say it's 'useless' either.

Anyway, this site is a LOT easier then Try2Hack.nl which I started and finished several months ago.

Sorry, I guess I didn't explain that very well. You're looking for the 'link color', the link on that page was overridden, it isn't the true link color. You need to look in the source and find the hex for the actual link color.

Gah, that's as far as I'm going. Level 15 has me stumped as it's no longer looking at code. Anyway, there were some tricky ones in there (and some just plain annoying ones), for instance, Level 12 forces you to try many different combinations of numbers until you guess the right one (fortunately I wrote a VB app to save me some time for this) and 10 is quite tricky if you're not thinking properly. Levels 11 and 14 were quite fun to do though.

If anyone has any idea for 15 then please tell because I have no idea where to start.

13 isn't too hard, you do need a Java Decompiler though.

I'm at 15, but I also have no idea how to do that one. The rest was kinda easy. I only had a problem with level 13. I had a program that opened the classes on my comp, but I only later found out that the program was unable to decompile the implementations. So I was stumped for a moment there.

The trick to Level 8 is to not even look at the source code, look at the page URL, you'll notice it's not the same as all the others. I wonder why they would do that.

For Lvl 10: You're looking at a fake JS file. Look at the URL again and notice that it's not normal, think what happens when you CLICK a URL like that, what page does it actually take you to?
